I just read an interesting blog post by John Blanco at Rapture in Venice called “Why I Switched from PureMVC to Mate”. I’ve not heard of Mate before so this was an introduction to a different type of MVC framework besides PureMVC.
Despite reading this, I won’t be cutting the cord on PureMVC (seeing how I just switched over to it this summer) because it’s a tag based framework specifically for Flex. But it is good to be informed that there is another fish in the water in case it’s brought to my attention.
